| Expect your reception at River Forest to be a photogenic opportunity. 'There are wonderful places here to take photographs,' our Banquet Manager says. 'There's not just one spot; we have over 300 beautiful acres here. We have wooden bridges throughout our golf course; there's a gazebo, flower beds, and a beautiful pond and fountain. You can take a photo at sunset off the 18th hole.' We can handle up to 150 guests in our Dining Room, which has a palette of the natural elements as a backdrop for your event: black leather arm chairs, wooden beams in the ceiling, impressive stone fireplace, and wooden trim. Brass chandeliers glow above the round tables. |
| For smaller, more intimate groups, we can use just part of this room for your event. Our 720 square foot terrace surrounded by the course is also a welcoming space. Wedding receptions can be held with us on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. There are options of dinners, lunches, brunch or buffets. Or perhaps you want a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception. We can even provide a dance floor for after-dinner entertainment at your event. |
| The dishes we create for you will be beautifully prepared.The menus and superb cuisine are prepared by our executive chef and staff. Consider some of the choices: pan-seared Tilapia, Chicken Cordon Bleu, stuffed pork tenderloin with a choice of seasonal fruit stuffing or spinach and feta, beef loin stuffed with figs, mushrooms, apples and cranberries.
